English Accent & Pronunciation classes
Start: 10/04/2017 End: 13/04/2017
Would you like to change your accent?
Would you like to sound more natural when speaking English?
Is your accent stopping you from getting to where you really want to be?
Is your accent standing in the way of your career goals, your true desires and aspirations?
If yes, than it means the English Accent and pronunciation classes are for you.
Accent reduction is a great form of teaching you English pronunciation. Accent reduction training will help and teach you how to develop flexibility and musculature in the tongue, lips and the articulatory system to help you produce English speech sounds and as a result reduce your accent so that you can speak English clearly.
We allow 6 students in the class as to provide a bespoke service tailored to meet each individual unique needs, which means that every student gets the individual attention they need and t he one to one dynamic allows for the group to work at the pace that best suits their learning style.
How does a lesson look like?
Well, the first class will consist of comprehensive assessment of your accent and you’ll also learn how the speech muscles work and the relationship between English spelling and sound. During the following classes you start with the sounds that will make the biggest improvements. First in terms of clarity, and then in terms of sounding more like a native. You’ll also train your ear to become aware of sound differences (in English, and between English and your native language). We record you in the lesson so you have references to listen to at home. Mouth training will help you produce new sounds. This involves doing exercises to make the speech muscles stronger and more flexible. And on top of that you’re going to practise using detailed worksheets and audio of native speakers.
If you’re seriously thinking of improving the way your English sounds this course is a perfect choice. By the way, in order to become a participant your English level should be at least B1- intermediate.
