A2  Further Leave to Remain A2 Spouse Visa course I Secure English Language Preparation course

Length: 6 weeks

Days: Mondays,Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays

Time: 09:30-11:30


Location: TELC UK- English School, 349c High Road, N22 8JA, Wood Green, North London

Course covers:
– 48 hours of preparation lessons in a small group (4-10 students)
– ‎mock exam
– ‎2 hours of one to one support

Please note: We do NOT provide the Trinity Test in our centre. We only teach and prepare you for the exam.

You must pass a Secure English Language Test (SELT) in at least CEFR level A2 in Speaking and Listening for:

  • Further Leave to Remain (visa extension), required two and a half years after passing an A1 test.

Trinity’s GESE Grade 3 exam = CEFR A2.

The Home Office has announced that, as from 1 May 2017, non-EEA nationals will need to pass a Secure English Language Test (SELT) in speaking and listening at level A2 after two-and-a-half years in the UK in order to qualify for further leave to remain on the five-year partner or parent route to settlement.

Communicative skills

  6. Past tense of the verb to be
