Trinity College London is approved English language test providers of B1 Private Hire Drivers test. Trinity’s ISE I qualification is accepted by TfL as evidence of meeting the new English language requirement. There are three centres in London where you can take your B1 Cab driver tests. Before you take that test it’s crucial to learn the techniques and strategy to pass the exam successfully. At TELC UK we help you practice all the parts of the exam i.e. speaking, listening, reading and writing so that you know what to expect during the exam.

During your B1 English Language tests Preparation for Private Hire Drivers Course you will be trained in a very friendly environment and will be assigned a consultant who will be your contact person(liaison) throughout your training, so during the course you have:

• Small group sessions (4-6 students)
• Extra support by appointments where required
• It is important that you are aware that we will ensure that you are well prepared so that you can attend the actual exam with confidence

What is in the exam?

ISE I (BI) consists of two exam modules:

• Reading & Writing
• Speaking & Listening

Candidates must pass both modules for an ISE I (B1) qualification.

Reading & Writing 2 hours: 2 x Reading tasks 1 x Reading into writing task 1 x Writing task

Speaking & Listening 18 minutes: 1 x Topic task 1 x Conversation task 2 x Listening tasks
