Best book for IELTS exam

Posted By

Together with the growing number of students preparing to take the IELTS exam there seems to be an increase in the available books that help you get a better score in the exam. As a result, it’s really hard to figure out which coursebook is the right one, baring in mind the cost of these materials, you won’t be buying 4 or 5 books just to realize they are of no use or don’t include the vital technique and tips that guarantee the top score.  Well, at least you as an individual won’t be purchasing those books, but we did, and we believe that the The Official Cambridge Guide to IELTS Student’s Book is the best of all that we tested with our students. Without any hesitation we believe it THE definitive guide to IELTS, as it:

1. focuses on skills development and test-taking strategy to help you maximise your band-score

2. includes exercises which are based on research into real IELTS candidates’ exam answers – and the mistakes they make, so that you don’t make the same ones

3. is packed with solid advice, this practical guide develops your language and explains how to tackle each part of the exam.

4. provides real practice tests ensuring you are completely familiar with the exam and are able to perform with confidence.

Moreover there are videos of the Speaking test which give you a head start in a part of the exam which is tricky to prepare.

Choose The Official Cambridge Guide to IELTS and be confident that you have the most authoritative preparation available for this life-changing exam. IELTS is jointly managed by the British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia and Cambridge English Language Assessment.

It’s proved to work for our students and grown it’s popularity on Amazon, that awarded the book no.1 bestseller.

i spent fortune on different books, this one proved to be the best

Since I started preparing for the IELTS exam many teachers were suggesting different books ( I googled and found many websites and teachers helping you improve all the skills using variety of different resources). I was totally confused and then a friend of mine suggested this book. I am no longer confused where to look and what to expect. It is pretty inexpensive comparing to private tuitions. it is a book worth spending money as the results are guaranteed

The ONLY IELTS preparation book that you'll need

A comprehensive book and perhaps the only book you will need to go confident for the test. The exercises are intuitive and interesting, the flow of the book is quite ideal with tips, common errors being highlighted. It has 8 official practice tests (the most that I could find in any one book) unlike some of the other Cambridge books that have too few tests.

If you don't want to collect a clutter of books and only want to focus on ONE book, simply go for this one

I watched a webinar on this book, and it got me convinced. Book is very well structured and it helps you to get to know the test step by step, with good exercises.
