We have a classroom and training facility for hire ideal for small group training, courses or private lessons, consisting of:
Modern class room, recently refurbished, with whiteboard
9 chairs with attached tables
Fan and electric heater
Kitchen with coffee/tea facilities
Available: Saturday and Sunday all day
During the week till 5:45pm.
Price: £15.50 per hour
Minimum of 2 hours booking
Our centre is clean, modern and just 10 minutes walking distance from Wood Green underground station.

TELC UK: TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ROOM HIRE
In confirming your booking with us you accept our Terms and Conditions in full and undertake to ensure all group
leaders read and adhere to the Terms and Conditions too.
Bookings & Cancellations
Bookings are only confirmed when upon our receipt of full payment, which must be made by two weeks before your booking will take place. Last minute bookings will be considered on a case by case basis.
If you need to cancel or make changes; contact the resident Quakers in writing or by email as soon as possible.
Cancellations with less than two weeks’ notice are charged at the full rate.
For ongoing bookings, we request that you re-book or pencil in subsequent hire periods (wherever possible) before the end of your existing contract, to allow us to provide continuity of service.
You will be asked what the aims and principles of your organisation are, we reserve the right to refuse groups who we feel are not compatible with our values.
You will be expected to confine your occupancy to the space and time agreed, extra time will be charged in 30 minute increments.
Setting up beforehand and clearing up afterwards are included in the contracted times.
Our insurance does not cover your own personal property or that of the group. Any items are left on the premises at the owner’s risk (even with our agreement).
Lost and found items will be kept within the premises. Items will be disposed of after one month.
You are responsible for security and you must ensure that all exterior doors are kept closed and locked after you leave the building.
Damage caused by any member of your group must immediately be reported to a member of TELC UK and all such repairs or replacements arranged by TELC UK must be paid for in full by yourselves.
We ask you to consider our neighbours on leaving the building, especially at night.
Fire & Safety
You must observe fire precautions and make your group aware of the Fire Action Plan, including escape routes and location of fire extinguishers.
During your meeting, do not wedge exterior doors open or block fire exits.
The front door is a fire exit and must not be blocked by pushchairs or any other items, there must be a clear gangway through to the outer doors at all times.
When setting up chairs please allow space for an aisle / emergency gangway at least 1m wide to the nearest fire exit.
Tea lights and candles may only be burned in enclosed containers, to avoid naked flames near curtains, rugs or other flammable materials.
The first aid box and accident book a re located in the lobby, all accidents must be recorded and use of items from the first aid kit reported to a member of TELC UK.
A bespoke entrance key code will be issued to the leader of your group. This can only be used by that nominated person in conjunction with your booking slot and must not be given to third parties. Upon accessing the building the leader will be responsible for arranging for other members to enter.
Only group members may access the building during your booking.
You must ensure that the rooms are left clean and tidy and in their original state. There will be an additional surcharge to your group if extra cleaning costs arise.
Consumption of food and drinks is not permitted in the Meeting Room, except for water.
Use of the kitchen and communal area are included in your contract, but please leave them clean and tidy and share them responsibly with any co -hirers.
If you wish to display or distribute public advertising about your group, it must be approved by the member of TELC UK first.
No alcohol, drugs or gambling (including raffles) are allowed anywhere on the premises.
We hold Public Liability Insurance for standard sedentary activities, should you require coverage for other activities please arrange your own additional insurance.
Any activities for children, young people and/or vulnerable adults should comply with current legislation. It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that all necessary DBS checks have been undertaken before the hire period commences. We do not accept any responsibility for the hirer’s failure to comply with this requirement. Children must be supervised at all times whilst on the premises.
