Welcome to my profile, I am Emily- an English Language teacher passionate about teaching English to professionals or students who need to boost their confidence and fluency when using English at work and/or social situations. I`m also a dedicated FCE tutor who gives engaging and inspiring Cambridge exam preparation lessons that are going to help you succeed in getting the best score in your exam. My story

I’ve been teaching English since 2005, first I taught the language in my hometown Bialystok in Poland and later moved to London. At the end of 2010 I applied for CELTA. After 3 months of a heavy workload and sleepless nights preparing lesson plans I finally got my certificate in March 2011. Shortly after I went on a long and deserved holiday, I was travelling in India and in Poland where I was practising windsurfing. Upon my return and a bit of struggle in finding a teaching position I started giving private tuitions and in late 2011 I created TELC UK – an English language school in Wood Green, North London.

Teaching English in London and being a non-native speaker is pretty daunting experience, so I had to make my lessons unlike the others. That’s the reason why I use variety of coursebooks or videos to make the lesson more engaging, interesting and inspiring and the feedback I receive from my students is amazing. I love my job and you can definitely see the passion and enthusiasm during every lesson we`re going to have, well as long as you work hard ) as I`m quite a demanding teacher. So, if you decide to have a lesson with me please be prepared for hard but fun work. I believe that only by challenging ourselves we can make massive progress.

Prices of online ( skype) and home tuition in BR6 :
£26 for 60mins
£35 for 90 min
Package of 10 lessons x 90 mins is £325

I also travel in and round Chelsfield (+/- 5 miles) for an extra £10 per class
